Who we are

This website (newyorkophthalmologist.com) is operated by Start Me Hub srl, via Galasso da Carpi 1, 62100 Macerata, Italy (VAT IT01935510436), the data controller. Contact: info@startmehub.com.

What we collect

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and we do not build visitor profiles.

When you send an offer or a purchase request we collect the data you type in the form (name, email, phone, company, postal address, country, tax ID, message, offer amount) to answer you and, if you proceed, to prepare the contract and invoices. The request is delivered by email to our company mailbox and stored on our server in the European Union.

Lease payments are processed by Stripe and sold through Link (link.com), which acts as merchant of record and handles card data, receipts and payment support under its own privacy policy. We receive the customer name, email and subscription status.

Our servers keep technical logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for up to 30 days for security purposes.

Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. (content delivery and protection against attacks), which processes IP addresses and technical request data for that purpose under its own privacy policy and the GDPR safeguards for international transfers.

To count visits we use Cloudflare Web Analytics: aggregated statistics (pages viewed, referring site, country, device type, loading speed) collected without cookies, without storing anything on your device and without identifying visitors. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).

Health information

This website is not a medical practice. Please do not send health information through our forms; if you do, we delete it.

Legal basis and retention

We process form data to take steps at your request before a contract and to perform the contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)), and to meet tax obligations (art. 6(1)(c)). Offers that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 24 months; contract and invoicing data are kept for the period required by law.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@startmehub.com. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
